Hot Flash Cook Mushroom Yuzu Broth
serves 4
ingredients
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oilheart health
- 1 pound mixed mushrooms (cremini, shiitake, oyster), sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 6 cups Mushroom Bone Brothfood friendbone density (I'm shrinking!)tired & low energy
- 3 tablespoons yuzu juice
- 2 tablespoons coconut aminosheart health
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
method
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Add mushrooms and cook until golden, about 5–6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté onion until softened, about 3 minutes. Add garlic and ginger, cook 1 minute.
- Pour in Mushroom Bone Broth and bring to a simmer. Add mushrooms back in.
- Stir in yuzu juice and coconut aminos. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper. Finish with sesame oil and green onions.
- Serve hot.
